10 Minute Total Body Workout

Life is busier than ever, but I know how much breaking a sweat does for my mind and body. My head is clear and focused after a workout. Plus it feels great to be active and move my body, since so much of our lives now are sedentary. Being armed with a no fail plan for workouts definitely helps to make sure no matter where you are, you can get something in!

On days that I feel totally crunched or I’m traveling, I still try to get in a sweat session. Something is better than nothing! Here’s a quick 10 min workout that you can do anywhere with no equipment needed:

10 Minute do anywhere Total Body Workout! Using a timer (you can download any interval timing app to your phone) and set it to do 50 seconds of activity and 10 seconds of rest. Do the following exercises to get a full body workout: 2 Rounds:

1. Squats

2. Push-ups

3. Jumping jacks

4. Alternating Lunges

5. Plank

There are so many options that you can do with this format! You can make it more intense by doing burpees, plank walks, renegade rows, kettlebell moves, weights etc for any of the exercises. Add weight to each of the moves to make it harder or do the routine for 3 or 4 times to make it longer. However you do it, you’ll get a great effective workout in a short amount of time!

This is truly a no excuse, do anywhere workout! I never know what I’ll have access to or what I’m in the mood for. Sometimes I just like the way a workout flows and I’ll switch up the moves. Or when I want to change it up, I use a different format. But the options are endless.
